2. Statutes and Objectives of the Association
The purpose of the association is to promote culture, education, and support for young people and the elderly. As the non-profit Kulturverein Markthalle Neun e.V., we are committed to a sustainable food system transformation. For us, sustainable food involves treating people, animals and the environment with respect; it is regionally and seasonally focused, linked to regional value creation, and characterised by transparency and trust. To this end, we organise and support accessible educational and cultural activities centred on good, sustainable food. By fostering a love of cooking with fresh, healthy ingredients and a sense of community around everyday eating culture, we aim to show that a sustainable and healthy diet can be both affordable and delicious.
