Kreuzberg celebrates its diversity, and the Kochschule Neun celebrates with it! On 23 May 2026, the 30th Children’s Carnival of Cultures took place, and we were right in the heart of the action with a stall in Görlitzer Park. With two large stages, various play areas and numerous stalls run by children’s and youth organisations, the festival had plenty to offer families and children of all ages.

At the Kochschule Neun stand, we invited the children to join culinary activities: they could taste their way through different spices, practise peeling and chopping apples and carrots, guess which fruits were hidden in feel boxes, or take part in a food quiz game. Of course, if they guessed correctly, they received a stamp in their children’s rally pass. Around 100 children took up the challenge. It was great fun!
