Interactive programme at the Pflanzzeit at Markthalle Neun

On the second Saturday of the Pflanzzeit (plant market at Markthalle Neun), Kochschule Neun, in cooperation with the GemeinSchafftNatur initiative, hosted a hands-on programme in the garage courtyard of Markthalle Neun. In the open air and in a lively atmosphere, people worked together, created and shared knowledge.

One highlight of the day was the creation of vertical beds from upcycling materials. Using simple materials, the participants learnt how to create a creative and sustainable garden even in the smallest of spaces - on the balcony, for example.

There were also exciting insights into the world of plants: The principles of plant families, mixed cultures and the importance of good and bad plant neighbours were discussed together. This exchange not only helped to understand the basics of gardening, but also awakened the desire to put the newly acquired knowledge directly into practice.

The hands-on programme underlines the importance of sustainability and community - values that both Kochschule Neun and the GemeinSchafftNatur initiative want to promote. Pflanzzeit is therefore not only an opportunity to garden, but also a place for dialogue and inspiration for a more conscious life.
