Children's programme at the Schoko-Naschmarkt: discovering cacao and getting creative

Of course, the children's hands-on programme at Kochschule Neun was a must at the Schoko-Naschmarkt in March 2024. Everything revolved around the topic of cocoa - from the plant to the finished bar.

The children discovered the exciting journey of cocoa with lots of curiosity and fun: Where and how does the cocoa plant grow? What happens to the beans before they become chocolate? Questions were answered and connections explained in a playful and vivid way.

But there was also plenty of practical experience: the children were able to use their hands creatively and conjure up delicious results while baking together. It was not only about enjoyment, but also about experiencing the origin and appreciation of the ingredients.

The programme from Kochschule Neun made the chocolate snack market a special experience for the youngest visitors and showed once again how important it is to impart knowledge about food in a playful way - with an extra portion of chocolate, of course!
